What is OAA?¶
OAA refers to Open Authorization API. It is a term coined by the Veza team. It is both an API and a framework for build integrations with the Veza platform. You may use the OAA api to publish metadata about “identities, authorization, and resources of custom-built or unsupported applications”. See general documentation here [1]
More broadly, the term OAA is often used to represent an integration as a whole. You will often hear people something things like “We will build an OAA”. This means that a script or package will be built that leverages the OAA api and accompanying SDK to integration data with Veza. An “OAA exists for that application” simply means that a script or integration already exists.
